PROGRAMMA EVENTI A FORIO 2024/2025

Vi informiamo che è disponibile il calendario degli eventi del Comune di Forio per il periodo 2024 ed inizio 2025. Il programma, in costante evoluzione, è stato sviluppato sia in lingua italiana che in lingua inglese, così da permettere agli operatori del settore di poter proporre il manifesto ai turisti nazionali e internazionali. Verrà comunicata a breve la data dell’apertura del nuovo Info Point dove contestualmente all’inaugurazione ci sarà la conferenza stampa di presentazione dei nuovi spazi e del calendario 2024/25, l’invito è da considerarsi aperto a tutti.

Contestualmente all’inaugurazione del nuovo Info Point al Porto di Forio ci sarà la conferenza stampa di presentazione del calendario degli eventi 2024/2025.

GIOVEDI FORIANI: TUTTI I GIOVEDI DAL 25 APRILE 2024

Tutti i giovedì primaverili, estivi e autunnali il Porto di Forio ed il centro storico diventano il centro isolano della Movida ischitana, uno spazio ed un evento pensato per il divertimento dei giovani e non, tra musica, band dal vivo e drink.

GIORNATA ECOLOGICA: 21 APRILE 2024

Con la Primavera partono le Giornate ecologiche, le strade principali saranno liberate dalle auto e affollate da bimbi che giocano, biciclette, giochi e intrattenimento per tutti. La circolazione sarà deviata altrove per donare a tutti gli ischitani un paese senza vetture e senza pericoli all’insegna dell’ecologia.

GIORNATA ECOLOGICA: 27 APRILE 2024

Un sabato ecologico, le strade principali saranno liberate dalle auto e affollate da bimbi che giocano, biciclette, giochi e intrattenimento per tutti. La circolazione sarà deviata altrove per donare a tutti gli ischitani un paese senza vetture e senza pericoli all’insegna dell’ecologia.

CONCERTO MATIA BAZAR: 27 APRILE 2024

Nella straordinaria cornice del Centro Storico di Panza si esibiranno i Matia Bazar, per una serata all’insegna dei ricordi e della nostalgia.

GIORNATA INTERNAZIONALE DEL JAZZ:  30 APRILE 2024

Una serata indimenticabile di jazz che trasformerà il suggestivo centro storico in un palcoscenico vivente di suoni e atmosfere coinvolgenti. L’evento celebra l’arte e la passione per la musica in uno scenario unico e romantico. L’atmosfera romantica e spensierata di San Gaetano sarà arricchita dalle note sensuali del jazz, creando un’esperienza indimenticabile per i residenti e i visitatori dell’isola.

ANDAR PER SENTIERI: 25 APRILE – 1 MAGGIO 2024

In primavera Ischia si scopre a piedi: al via la nona edizione di Andar per Sentieri, tra boschi di Acacie, vulcani semidormienti e pascoli si arriverà alle tipiche case di pietra, cantine con le ventarole (gallerie scavate nella roccia che rappresentano antichi sistemi di aerazione naturale) fino ad arrivare all’eremo di S. Nicola oggi divenuto prezioso museo sulla vetta più alta dell’isola, il monte Epomeo. Il sentiero del bosco di Zaro con visita a La Colombaia (la residenza che fu di Luchino Visconti) e il sentiero del faro di Punta Imperatore, oggi esclusivo Resort di lusso, che farà vivere agli escursionisti un’esperienza indimenticabile con degustazione al tramonto, sulle tracce della prima farista donna e ultima guardiana del faro, Lucia.

BANDA MUSICALE DELLA DORF TIROL: 19 MAGGIO 2024

Il Comune di Forio d’Ischia è lieto di ospitare un eccezionale concerto della rinomata Banda Musicale di Dorf Tirol, proveniente dalla pittoresca regione del Trentino-Alto Adige. Questo straordinario evento musicale promette di portare un tocco di tradizione e maestria alla vivace atmosfera di Forio.

GIORNATA ECOLOGICA: 26 MAGGIO 2024

Le strade principali saranno liberate dalle auto e affollate da bimbi che giocano, biciclette, giochi e intrattenimento per tutti. La circolazione sarà deviata altrove per donare a tutti gli ischitani un paese senza vetture e senza pericoli all’insegna dell’ecologia.

7 KM DI TRAMONTO: MAGGIO – GIUGNO – LUGLIO – AGOSTO – SETTEMBRE
Il tramonto più bello del mondo, 7 km per mostrarsi in tutta la sua bellezza: dal belvedere di Zaro alla chiesa del Soccorso al faro di Punta Imperatore. Ogni giorno in un luogo diverso, con delle sfumature diverse con un aperitivo diverso.

FIERA DI SAN VITO: 13 – 16 GIUGNO 2024

Le festività legate al Santo Patrono vedono la partecipazione di tutto il paese: la Fiera di San Vito, importantissimo per la comunità, prevede 4 giorni di ricorrenza, la fase liturgica prevede la celebrazione del Santo portato in spalla per tutto il paese, la fiera di San Vito vedrà poi stand di prodotti tipici ed artigianali, esibizione della banda di musica, le luminarie e i fuochi d’artificio. Il nostro patrono ha una lunga tradizione legata alla vite, in ragion di ciò abbiamo pensato ad una manifestazione enologica, “Un Calice di Cultura” per mostrare ai nostri ospiti e a tutti gli isolani, la bontà dei nostri prodotti.

LE VELE D’EPOCA A NAPOLI: DAL 19 AL 23 GIUGNO 2024

Nel suggestivo scenario del golfo di Napoli, fa ritorno la prestigiosa regata internazionale “Le Vele d’Epoca a Napoli”. Un evento mozzafiato che accoglie vele classiche provenienti da tutto il mondo, alcune delle quali vantano persino un secolo di storia. Un’occasione unica per ammirare l’eleganza e la maestria delle imbarcazioni in legno che solcano le acque del golfo, rendendo questa regata un vero spettacolo da non perdere.

YOGA NEL SOLTIZIO D’ESTATE: 21 GIUGNO 2024

La chiesa del Soccorso sullo sfondo, il sole che tramonta e il saluto al Sole nel giorno del Solstizio d’Estate: l’associazione Yoga Ischia sarà presente per una seduta gratuita di Yoga aperta a tutti, porta con te solo un tappetino ed un sorriso.

MONTERONE IN FESTA: 20 LUGLIO 2024

Una festa che racconta la storia della nostra comunità, tra vino e cibo locale e danze popolari: sapori, odori, emozioni di una Forio che non c’è più.

SAN LORENZO SOTTO LE STELLE: 10 AGOSTO 2024

Un evento che offre un’opportunità unica per celebrare la magia della Notte di San Lorenzo in un ambiente spettacolare e sicuro come la Spiaggia della Chiaia. Un’esperienza indimenticabile che unisce la bellezza della natura, l’innovazione tecnologica e la tradizione festiva in una serata mozzafiato, con “falò elettrici” e/o lanterne elettriche, teli da spiaggia e tanto romanticismo.

FERRAGOSTO ALLA FALANGA: 15 AGOSTO 2024
Da anni ormai a Ferragosto si mangia il pane e pomodoro all’ischitana, sui pendii del monte Epomeo, ma prima il tour dell’antico villaggio di pietra dei Frassitelli.

SAGRA DEL VINO E SAUSICCIATA A PANZA: 17 AGOSTO 2024
La sagra più importante a Ischia si svolge a Panza: il vino, le salsicce, i nostri prodotti locali, le tradizioni, i balli e la folkloristica “N’drezzata” vi regaleranno la serata contadina più bella di sempre.

GARA DI NUOTO A FORIO: 25 AGOSTO 2024
La gara di nuoto più importante dell’isola si svolge a Forio, si parte dalla bellissima Baia di San Francesco con arrivo alla Spiaggia della Chiaia, tutti possono partecipare ma  solo uno sarà il vincitore!

SAGRARA DEL CONIGLIO: 7 SETTEMBRE 2024

Sagra e Gara si uniscono in nome della tradizione, le sagge nonne del territorio ischitano si cimenteranno in una gara all’insegna della ricetta del coniglio all’ischitana. Ovviamente a fine gara, coniglio per tutti!

SANTA MARIA AL MONTE: 12 SETTEMBRE 2024

Una delle manifestazioni più sentite dai pellegrini e non, l’ascesa a piedi verso le pendici del Monte Epomeo, dove ha luogo il santuario della Madonna di Santa Maria al Monte. Qui una volta arrivati ed aver fatto visita alla bellissima chiesetta ci sarà un bicchiere di vino ed un piatto di pasta che potrete consumare nel boschetto adiacente estremamente suggestivo.

FESTA DI SAN LEONARDO: 10 – 15 SETTEMBRE 2024

La devozione unica per San Leonardo stringe tutta la frazione di Panza, oltre il programma liturgico devozionale, l’intero paese si veste a festa tra luci, prodotti tipici locali, e danze folkloristiche.

JAZZ SOTTO LE STELLE: 14 SETTEMBRE 2024
Il Jazz day viene festeggiato a Forio, una serata di Jazz, il sound virtuoso ed armonico del Sax, le voci suadenti del Blues, in un concerto unico in Piazza San Gaetano a Forio.

ANDAR PER CANTINE:
20 SETTEMBRE – 6 OTTOBRE 2024

Dal 20 settembre al 1° ottobre, un fitto programma di passeggiate, scoperte, cantine, degustazioni, vino e incontri seguendo i filari delle viti che da tremila anni modellano il paesaggio dell’isola sulle colline che guardano il golfo, nelle valli assolate, lungo i fianchi dell’Epomeo, sulle terrazze esposte ai venti marini, fin nei punti più impervi della costa rocciosa.

Un viaggio dalle molteplici sfaccettature e opportunità, che ogni partecipante potrà costruirsi a misura dei propri passi, dei propri gusti e delle proprie curiosità.

Emozioni e piacevolezze da condividere con altri viaggiatori lungo gli itinerari dai nomi dei vitigni che hanno fatto onore all’isola di Tifeo; nelle cantine, dove si ripeterà il rito del simposio esaltato nei versi eterni della Coppa di Nestore; nei ritrovi serali, per godere insieme i fasti del tramonto e le meraviglie della sera, accompagnati dai vini e dai prodotti genuini di una terra sempre generosa.

Con i colori caldi dell’autunno, i profumi intensi del mosto e delle erbe aromatiche, il gusto verace dei suoi frutti e l’empatia della sua gente, l’Isola apre il suo cuore verde a chi amerà esplorarlo. Buon viaggio…

PANZA FESTA DELLA VENDEMMIA:
21 SETTEMBRE 2024

Il corso di Panza si trasforma in una immensa cantina: tra torchi, uva, vino, mosto, contadini, viti e cibo della tradizione. Mentre c’è chi rammenda con la raffia i cestini, c’è chi cucina e chi pesta l’uva con l’antico procedimento: il tutto accompagnato dalle danze locale

ISCHIA SUNSET TRIATHLON 13° EDIZIONE: 5 SETTEMBRE 2024

Una delle gare più attese nel panorama sportivo ischitano, una gara di Triathlon che avrà vita sul nostro territorio

FESTIVAL DEL VINO: 27-28-29 SETTEMBRE
La nostra profonda radice Greca ha un filo rosso che ci riporta ai tempi antichi, questo è una vite! Il vino è parte costituente della nostra cultura, della nostra storia e delle nostre eccellenze. Questo festival è pensato per far conoscere le nostre diverse realtà vinicole, le loro storie e i loro sapori.

CONIGLIO DAY: 27 SETTEMBRE 2024

Presente nel programma degli eventi di “Andar Per Cantine”, questo evento celebra uno dei piatti più amati e caratteristici della cucina ischitana: il coniglio.

FESTA SAN MICHELE: 29 SETTEMBRE 2024

La festa di San Michele Arcangelo coinvolge tutto il rione di Monterone: le danze tradizionali locali, i prodotti enogastronomici della tradizione, le luminarie e tanto divertimento.

FESTA DELLA LAMPUGA: 12 OTTOBRE 2024

L’evento celebra uno dei piatti più prelibati e caratteristici della cucina isolana: la lampuga. Questo pesce dalle carni delicate e gustose è protagonista indiscusso della festa, che offre un’occasione unica per assaporarlo in tutte le sue varianti culinarie.

Numerosi stand gastronomici, gestiti dai migliori ristoratori locali e pescatori esperti, offriranno una vasta gamma di piatti a base di lampuga, preparati con ricette tradizionali e innovative. Una stupenda manifestazione che brillerà nella fantastica e caratteristica cornice del molo borbonico: luogo di cultura e di storie. Sarà davvero suggestivo ammirare i racconti teatralizzati dei pescatori.

FESTIVAL DELLA FIABA: 31 OTTOBRE – 1 NOVEMBRE  – 2 NOVEMBRE

Una gara per la fiaba più bella per i più piccoli, una gara per la fiaba più bella per i grandi. Uno spettacolo di improvvisazione della fiaba vincitrice. Alivincitori anche un buono da spendere in libri.

FESTA SANTA LUCIA: 13 DICEMBRE 2024

Il quartiere di Santa Lucia celebra la propria Santa, le bancarelle con torrone, noccioline e caramelle, luminarie, la cioccolata calda e la gara di canto. 

“SWITCH ON” CHE LUCE SIA! : 7 DICEMBRE 2024

Tutto pronto per festeggiare il Natale assieme, iniziano gli eventi natalizi con l’accensione delle Luminarie in tutto il paese: il Sindaco e tutta l’amministrazione alla presenza di un Big della musica nazionale e internazionale.

INAUGURAZIONE PISTA DI GHIACCIO: 8 DICEMBRE 2024

La pista di ghiaccio a Forio è diventata la protagonista della nostra cartolina natalizia: le luci sullo sfondo a “colorare” i nostri monumenti e “lei” al centro sotto il nostro bellissimo albero, anche quest’anno sarà la protagonista. A sorprenderci ulteriormente: uno spettacolo ideato per l’occasione con uno o più protagonisti del panorama del pattinaggio nazionale e/o internazionale.

Un losco figuro ha tra le mani il Natale… è il Grinch!

Riuscirà Babbo Natale insieme ai tanti bambini presenti a salvare il Natale?

GARA PIZZA DI SCAROLE: 15 DICEMBRE 2024
La pizza di Scarole rappresenta il prodotto natalizio più identitario di Forio e dell’isola d’Ischia, il primato è dovuto al forte sentimento di tradizione della sua ricetta, per questo è nata questa gara, quale sarà la migliore pizza di scarole dell’anno? E’ una gara certo! Ma soprattutto il ritrovo per la cultura foriana ed ischitana che tra balli, assaggi e aneddoti dei più anziani passa un pomeriggio di festa.

IL PIU GRANDE PRESEPISTA AL MONDO: 18 DICEMBRE 2024
Il più grande presepista al mondo, proveniente da generazioni di presepisti, il suo atelier è una della realtà più importanti del presepio napoletano e quindi del mondo, sarà con noi per una Performance Art dove completerà un presepio davanti ai nostri occhi.

LETTERINE DI BABBO NATALE: 20 DICEMBRE 2024
Avete scritto la letterina a Babbo Natal? Che desideri avete? Lo direte ad entrambi in questo evento che coinvolge non solo i più piccoli ma anche i più grandi. Le ginocchia di Babbo Natale pronte ad accogliervi.

LA “COLAZIONE” ISCHITANA: 21 DICEMBRE 2024

Il cornetto Ischitano, il pane e pomodoro, la scarola “trecciuta”, i fagioli a zuppa, la pizza di farina rossa, il migliaccio, la pizza di scarole, la zingara sono solo alcune delle nostre “colazioni” antiche e nuove. In questo fantastico evento ve le faremo assaggiare tutte!

NOTTE BIANCA CON OSPITE A SORPRESA: 21 DICEMBRE 2024
Lo scorso periodio natalizio vi abbiamo meravigliato con la bellezza della nostra straordinaria notte bianca: i locali pieni, i negozi aperti, le famiglie a passeggio e… un ospite di livello nazionale. Anche quest’anno sarà così!

CACCIA AL TESORO: 22 DICEMBRE 2024
Il territorio di Forio diventa un nascondiglio per un tesoro nascosto, tutta la notte le squadre saranno occupate al ritrovamento del prezioso nascosto. Tra vicoli, segreti, indovinelli e scoperte, ecco la caccia al tesoro più bella dell’isola d’Ischia.

PRESEPE VIVENTE A PANZA:  28-29 DICEMBRE 2024
La tradizionale teatralizzazione del Presepe Vivente a Panza trasforma l’intero Antico Centro Storico delle Frazione di Panza in una straordinaria Betlemme: le luci, gli odori, le braci accese, gli antichi mestieri, ti condurranno nel lungo percorso tra i vicoli verso grotta dove è nato Gesù, nel camminare troverete le botteghe antiche aperte che serviranno anche prodotti tipici locali.

ASSISE DEI PESCI: 24 DICEMBRE 2024

L’evento piu importante della tradizione Natalizia foriana: la mattina della vigilia di Natale ci si riunisce prima dell’alba in Piazza San Gaetano per la benedizione del pesce appena pescato, gustando insieme la zuppa di fagioli della storia contadina foriana.

BRUNCH VIGILIA DI NATALE: 24 DICEMBRE 2024
La  Vigilia di Natale l’iintera comunità isolana si ritrova tra il porto di Forio ed il porto dalle 12:00 per festeggiare insieme: tra un calice di vino ed una pizza fritta si balla fino al tramonto.

SAN VITO CHRISTMAS CHOIR IN CHIESA: 25 DICEMBRE 2024

Il coro di San Vito, magistralmente diretto dal maestro Gianvito Di Maio è lieta di presentare la teatralizzazione delle più belle e tradizionali canzoni natalizie, l’evento si svolgerà nella suggestiva Basilica di San Vito Martire.

Il presepe teatrale napoletano nei nostri caratteristici portoni in Via Torrione.

PORTONI APERTI: 29 DICEMBRE 2024
La manifestazione culturalmente più profonda e rilevante del calendario, un percorso che indaga le profonde radici della cultura Foriana grazie alla teatralizzazione delle storie e dei personaggi più importanti del nostro palcoscenico culturale passato, tutto questo nei portoni antichi: al tempo protagonisti indiscussi della nostra storia.

FORIO IN CORSA: 30 DICEMBRE 2024

L’evento sportivo dell’anno si svolge a Forio, coinvolge tutto il centro storico ed anima le feste con una sfida che richiama atleti provenienti anche dalla terraferma. Non una semplice corsa ma un percorso ideato per mostrare a chi corre le nostre straordinarie bellezze paesaggistiche: dal lungomare al Torrione, alla Chiesa del Soccorso. Un evento che ti lascerà senza fiato, in tutti i sensi.

BRUNCH VIGILIA DI CAPODANNO: 31 DICEMBRE 2024
La  Vigilia di Capodanno l’intera comunità isolana si ritrova tra il porto di Forio ed il centro Storico dalle 12:00 per festeggiare insieme: tra un calice di vino ed una pizza fritta si balla fino al tramonto.

CAPODANNO IN PIAZZA: 31 DICEMBRE 2024
Festeggia il Capodanno a Forio con il count down verso il nuovo anno, bottiglia di spumante alla mano attenderemo l’inizio del 2025 e subito dopo un artista di livello nazionale ci farà ballare tutta la notte, così da essere pronti per prendere il primo cornetto ischitano dell’anno, all’alba ed appena uscito dai forni delle pasticcerie.

Con esibizioni coinvolgenti di cori gospel, cantanti solisti e gruppi musicali, questo evento promette di sollevare i cuori e riempire le anime. Un comico proveniente dai palcoscenici nazionali ci farà divertire in una serata all’insegna della spensieratezza.

Avete scritto la letterina alla Befana? Che desideri avete? Le racconterete tutto in questo evento che coinvolge non solo i più piccoli ma anche i più grandi. Riceverete carbone o dolciumi?

LA BEFANA VIEN DI NOTTE: 6 GENNAIO 2025
Ecco che la befana porta i dolciumi, le caramelle ai bimbi più buoni ed il carbone a quelli più cattivi: zucchero filato, musica e divertimento per i più piccoli.

Il Sindaco e l’amministrazione intervengono per presentare alla cittadinanza, agli isolani, alla stampa e agli operatori del settore il programma degli eventi 2025/26

CARNEVALE DI MONTERONE: 2 MARZO 2025


Il Carnevale di Monterone è iscritto nell’ Inventario I.P.I.C. degli Elementi Culturali Immateriali Campani, secondo i parametri della Convenzione UNESCO. Una manifestazione ultracentenaria, arrivata alla 105° edizione, che esprime tutta la filosofia, la cultura, gli usi e costumi della storia della contrada di Monterone: carri allegorici, panini con salsiccia, vino, zeppole, gare, maschere e festoni; tutte accompagnate dalla Fantasmagorica Banda di Monterone, che a ritmo di “scetavaiasse”, “putipù” e strumenti letteralmente inventati, coinvolgono tutto il paese sfilando per le strade.

FESTA SAN VALENTINO: 14 FEBBRAIO 2025

La festa degli Innamorati riempie di romanticismo il centro storico di Forio: tra cuori, musica, palloncini, frasi d’amore, cornici a cuore e gadget a tema. Lasciati colpire da Cupido!


FESTA SANT’ANTONIO A PIELLERO: 17 GENNAIO 2025

Sant’Antonio è il protettore degli animali, e la comunità di Piellero insieme agli ischitani e turisti, si riunisce nei pressi della Cappella votiva di Sant’Antonio benedicendo i propri animali. A seguire attorno ad un fuoco si gustano le prelibatezze della tradizione contadina foriana.

RICERCA DELLE UOVA PASQUALI: 17 APRILE 2025

Un evento totalmente dedicato ai bambini, Il Giovedì santo il centro storico di Forio si trasforma in un luogo fatato e magico dove i più piccoli saranno protagonisti della ricerca delle uova di Pasqua, tra zucchero filato, dolci e personaggi dei cartoni animati.

VIA CRUCIS: 18 APRILE 2025

Nel giorno del Venerdì Santo, il centro storico di Forio diventa la Gerusalemme del 30 d.C., appena calano le tenebre le fiaccole e le luci dei fuochi illuminano le strade che saranno un grande palcoscenico per raccontare le ore finali, le più dolorose della vita di Cristo.

La Domenica di Pasqua tutta la comunità Foriana si riunisce sul Corso di Forio per assistere all’evento più importante e più sentito dell’anno, l’Angelo “corre” per riferire alla Madonna e San Giovanni che Gesù Cristo è risorto. La grande partecipazione della gente è suggellata dal caratteristico e tradizionale canto del Regina Coeli.

LA PASQUETTA IL BRUNCH SULLA SPIAGGIA: 21 APRILE 2025

Passiamo la Pasquetta con il primo tepore primaverile sulla spiaggia della Chiaia, seduti con la famiglia a gustare le prelibatezze della tradizione: una felice scampagnata tra relax, sole, prodotti tipici locali e musica.

VILLA LA COLOMBAIA DI LUCHINO VISCONTI:
Anche quest’anno riapre la Villa del Maestro Visconti “La Colombaia”, saranno disponibili visite guidate e sarà prevista una programmazione di eventi specifica (che verrà inserita comunque in questo programma) che da giugno con l’Ischia Film Festival (Masterclass e ospiti internazionali), proseguirà con mostre, workshop sul cinema e sul teatro, laboratori e incontri musicali; la Villa sarà aperta fino a dicembre. Da dicembre ci sarà il programma “Incontri d’Autore” come il Natale scorso, e l’amato “Spazio studio” dove chi vorrà potrà recarsi per studiare nella bellissima cornice donataci dal Maestro.

ANDAR PER SENTIERI (HIKING THROUGH PATHS): APRIL 24th – 1st MAY 2024
In spring Ischia has to be discovered by foot: at the start of the ninth edition of Andar per Sentieri, among woods of Acacie, semi-dormant volcanoes and pastures you will get to the typical stone houses, cellars with fans (tunnels dug into the rock that represent ancient systems of natural ventilation) until you get to the hermitage of S. The festivities related to the Saint see the participation of the whole village: the Fair of San Vito, very important for the community, provides for 4 days of festivities: the liturgical phase includes the celebration of the Saint carried on the shoulder throughout the village, the fair of San Vito will then see stands of local products and crafts, performance of the band of music, the illuminations and fireworks. Our patron has a long tradition linked to the vine, so we thought of a wine event, “A Cup of Culture” to show our guests and all the islanders, the quality of our products.

CARNIVAL OF MONTERONE: MARCH 2^nd 2025
The Carnival of Monterone is included in the I.P.I.C. Inventory of Campania Intangible Cultural Elements, according to the parameters of the UNESCO Convention. An event over 100 years old, now in its 105th edition, which expresses all the philosophy, culture, customs and traditions of the history of the district of Monterone: : allegorical floats, sausage sandwiches, wine, zeppoles, races, masks and festoons; all accompanied by the Phantasmagoric Band of Monterone, which to the rhythm of “scetavaiasse”, “putipù” and instruments literally invented, involve the whole country parading through the streets.

THE ANGEL RACE: APRIL 20th 2025
On Easter Sunday the whole Forio community meets on the main street of the village to attend the most important and most heartfelt event of the year, the Angel “runs” to report to Our Lady and Saint John that Jesus Christ has risen. The great participation of the people is sealed by the characteristic and traditional song of Regina Coeli.

EASTER MONDAY BRUNCH ON THE BEACH: 21 APRIL 2025
We spend Easter Monday with the first spring warmth on the beach of Chiaia, sitting with the family to enjoy the delicacies of tradition: a happy outing between relaxation, sun, local products and music.

LA COLOMBAIA VILLA OF LUCHINO VISCONTI:

Even this year  in the villa of the famous director Luchino Visconti there will be available guided tours and permanent exhibition with images from the set of the various films of the Director. There will be a specific program of events (which will be included in this program) that occurs from June with the Ischia Film Festival (Masterclass and international guests) and it will continue with exhibitions, workshops on cinema and theater, workshops and musical meetings whereas the Villa will be open until December. From December there will be the program “Meetings of the Author” as last Christmas, and the beloved “Studio Space” where for who Wish to It is possible to go studying in the beautiful setting left to us by the Master.

This program is in constant developing, working in progress the details of the single events and the names of the participating artists will be added.
